New Banks Bullet Diesel Tuner For Late Model Pickups


AZUSA, CA—Gale Banks Engineering has introduced the Banks Bullet™, a budget-priced, entry-level diesel tuner/boost gauge for ’01-04 Duramax LB7, ’03-07 Cummins and ’03-07 Power Stroke pickups. The 2” gauge-mount device has Stock, Tow, and Sport power levels, which are changeable on-the-fly at the push of a button. Banks Bullet adds up to +60 hp and +100 lb-ft at the rear wheels, offers built-in AutoRate® and ActiveSafety® safeguards, and stacks with any aftermarket chip or programmer.

An all-in-one tuner and control panel, Banks Bullet displays boost, percent of fuel increase, self-diagnostics and power level. The display options are user-selectable. An optional thermocouple kit adds EGT (exhaust gas temperature)-reading capability and provides temperature-limiting safety, automatically limiting fuel delivery based on the user-selected maximum EGT, from 800-1500° in 50° increments. A warning flashes when the temp limit is approaching. Banks Bullet is easy to install and designed to integrate seamlessly with the vehicle’s electronics without interference.....
